Peru is a quaint city in Miami County, Indiana. The population is 11,024, making it the most populous city in Miami County. It is located along the Wabash River, which divides the city in two and creates beautiful, scenic views. Best known under the nickname “Circus Capital of the World”, Peru is the winter headquarters for several famous circuses. Also located nearby is Grissom Air Reserve Base and Mississinewa Lake.
